No human was intended to wield a sword of this weight or destructivenes. Flynn ring buff well only Ice Rapier (Spontoon will get only 5-10 more dmg from Flynn, while Ice 25-30). It does not, however, gain that magic damage. Bows in Dark Souls II are a type of ranged Weapons that allows the player to have direct control over aiming. I always thought it was super weird that magic buffs had a hierarchy like that but other elemental buffs didn't.
